Motherhood turns you into a very protective momma bear. I think I am even more so, because of what we had to go through to get our babies. I know they are 4 and 2, not exactly babies, but they are my babies. Recently in one of my blogs on this website I included a picture of my sweeties with the blog. My mother recently attended a teacher workshop and learned about this web site, www.topix.com, from other area teachers at the workshop. They said there was all kinds of crazy comments about Trumann on there. You type in Trumann in the search part and then click on the Trumann heading. She was telling me about the site and I pulled it up to read the stuff because, well I'm nosy. And on the front of the Trumann News page was the picture of my babies!! I know what your thinking, I shouldn't be bothered if I am the one who posted it to the internet in the first place, but I never dreamed it would end up on another site out in cyper space. I just made me so mad. I found the number for the web host in California and called and requested the photo be removed and thankfully it was. So now their pictures have been removed from any web area, that I know of and can control. So it was a good lesson to learn, that if you don't want what you post in a seemingly safe internet environment to be spread to any site without your knowledge or permission, don't post it!! Oh and that website has got some crazy stuff on it. I don't know if an ounce of it is true, but it makes for some good gossip reading. I am a former employee of the Trumann Democrat, during my time at the paper I was general manager, office manager, editor, paginator, photographer, columnist, paper deliverer, reporter, cleaning lady, and anything else as needed. It sounds like a lot, and it was, but it was fun. But most fun of all I wrote and will continue to write an award winning weekly column for the Trumann Democrat.
I am married to James McClung, we are both lifetime residents of Trumann and graduates of Trumann High School.
We have two children, Leah Elizabeth, 4, and Campbell, 2.
I will begin teaching high school English to students in grades 9 - 12 at Turrell High School.

There is really nothing good about that web-site. It's a legal liability waiting to explode, destroying people's lifes. Within time, several attorneys will have a field day from the site. If this is the type of garbage Trumann and other towns feed off of then we're worse off than I first believed. Over time, people who get caught up in such degrading would not know the truth if it bit their nose. Be careful not to feed the monster. Afterall, in todays society, the truth is what each individaul wants it to be. And more times than not, it will come back to bite YOU.
