Tornado comes through Tri-City Area

A tornado passed through Marked Tree this afternoon. There were no reports of the storm touching down, but there was visible rotation. I stood in the street and watched as the dark clouds were twirling around. It was pretty spooky. Suddenly the sky seemed to suck the dark clouds back up into the atmosphere and continued to move toward Lepanto.

Our Lepanto reporter, Marissa Holiman, took photos of the storm on the ground near her home and is out gathering photos of damage. We'll have more on the story coming soon.
