Sink your teeth into this!Posted Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 9:10 AM
So with that said, I definitely recommend this book as a Christmas present for that teenager/young adult/older adult that has everything, and of course, hasn't read the book. Ten dollars for a Christmas gift isn't that bad, if you are exchanging gifts this year (refer to my first blog). I'm trying to keep this blog short because I don't want to give too much away. One last thing. Read the first book ONLY before you see the movie. I think I would have liked the movie much much more if I would have waited to read the other books after the movie. The movie is based just on the first book, and my expectations were really high for this movie. Although I walked away not as satisfied as I wanted to be, I am still glad I saw the movie, "Twilight". I guess I just have a very wild and vivid imagination, one that Summit Entertainment couldn't quite match! Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Hello. My name is….

Since everyone is talking about it, I guess I'll have to put Twilight at the top of my book list. Thanks for the tip! :)
My wife is absolutely completely crazy about this book. She had read all four like there was going to be no tomorrow. However, she was extremely disappointed in the movie.
Me, being the sucker I am, took her and her friends word that it wasn't a "girly movie". So, I went with her to watch it. Needless to say it was the girliest Vampire Movie I've ever seen. No big action, mainly just lovey dovey smoochie stuff. I have to admit I was in the severe minority gender group in the theater. For me, the best part of the movie was the soda(Movie Soda's rock!)
So, I'm with you. You girls read the books and swoon. But skip the crappy movie!
I can't bring myself to read it. I think Nicholas Sparks ruined love stories for me.
