Two Trumann residents need thoughts and prayers

Lindsay Jones and Daniel Miller, both of Trumann, were involved in a terrible car accident on Sunday August 1 near Willow Springs, Mo. They were traveling home from a family reunion in Springfield. According to a web site set up by a family member, Daniel was transported by ambulance to a West Plains hospital and was and treated for two fractured vertebrae. He stayed overnight for observation, and was released the following day...

Delta Disposal takes first

Trumann's Delta Disposal baseball team won the post-season tournament in Harrisburg on June 24. They went un-defeated against Harrisburg and Weiner. Trumann took the first place trophy by defeating Weiner twice.
