Governor Asa Hutchinson and Dr. Nate Smith, secretary of the Arkansas Department of Health, update the public on the state’s response to the coronavirus, including the latest cases of COVID-19 and deaths. On Tuesday, Governor Hutchinson announced that on June 1, the state would test every nursing home patient, resident, and staff. Hutchinson said, “This additional testing will better protect our nursing home residents and our staff.” That’s an estimated 40-50,000 tests statewide...
