Sandra Perkins Green
Sandra Perkins Green, 57, of Tyronza, died April 30, 2003 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
A member of the First Assembly of God in Jonesboro, Green loved singing, cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Paul Green, and two grandchildren, Lauren Bailey and Ashton Celeste Deckelman.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Green of the home; her parents, Chester and Gladys Perkins of Tyronza; one son, Patrick S. Green of Tyronza; one daughter, Amy Deckelman of Marked Tree; two sisters, Ginger Tacker of Tyronza and Kathy Gray of Sardis, Miss.; and three grandchildren, Taylor and Tanner Green of Tyronza and Bryce Deckelman of Marked Tree.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the Church of God in Marked Tree with Michael Glover and Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial followed at the Tyronza Cemetery with Dean Tucker, Mike Layman, Bobby Fletcher, Wayne Nichols, Ronald Tacker and John Henry Higgins serving as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Marked Tree Church of God or the First Assembly of God in Jonesboro. Murphy Funeral Home Marked Tree had charge of the arrangements.
