Mae Shelton, 86, of Trumann, died May 5, 2003 at the Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City.
The widow of Richard Shelton, she was born in Missouri on January 20, 1917. Shelton was a homemaker of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by one so, Floyd Cato.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Waterford of Trumann and Linda Adams of Springdale; one son, Sylvester Cato of Trumann; one brother, Otis Brown of White Cloud, Mich.; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Potter Memorial Cemetery with Ervin Stout and Lloyd Rhoads officiating.
Philip Stout, Eddie Stout, Gary Stout, Chris Turner and Brad Dye served as pallbearers.
Murphy Funeral Home Lepanto had charge of the arrangements.
