Glenn Russell

Glenn E. Russell of West Memphis died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in West Memphis.

Russell, 88, a retired farmer, was a member of Missouri Street Church of Christ.

A former Marked Tree resident, Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Lula; sister, Mary "Tootsie" Parker and brother, Junior Russell.

The widower of Gwendolyn Russell, he leaves two sons, Carl Russell of Manchester, Tenn. and Gerald Russell of West Memphis; two sisters, Lou Ella Batson of Berwyn, Ill. and Freda Hosford of Greers Ferry; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4 at Roller-Citizen Chapel with burial following in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Visitation was held.

The family requests that memorials be sent to Missouri Street Church of Christ.
