Charles Ray Long

Charles Ray Long, 42, of Osceola died on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at his home.

Long was born on August 9, 1960 in Osceola and was a lifelong resident of Osceola. He was a factory worker and a member of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in Osceola.

Survivors include his mother, Essie Mae Long of Osceola; one daughter, Ellatishica Long of Davenport, Iowa; one sister, Gwen Long of Osceola; four brothers, Larry Long of Memphis, Jerry Long, Roosevelt Long Jr. and Henry Long, all of Osceola; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church with Reverend Cleveland Cain officiating. Burial followed at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola had charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held at the funeral home.
