Vera Inez Parrish

Vera Inez Parrish, 93, of Marion, formerly of Marked Tree, died Friday, August 8, 2003 at her Hobson Nursing Home in Marion.

Born and raised in Savannah, Tenn., she moved to Marked Tree in 1930. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.D. Parrish.

Survivors include one son, Larry N. Parrish of Marked Tree; one grandchild, Brian K. Parrish; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, in Tyronza Cemetery, where clergymen of Corners Chapel Baptist Church of Payneway officiated under Rev. George Fink, Pastor.

Visitation was held at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
