James Edward Robinson, Sr.

James Edward Robinson, Sr., 69, of Blytheville, died on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003 at his residence.

Born on Feb. 14, 1934, Robinson was a farm worker and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Robinson and Mary Curry Robinson.

Survivors include his wife, Cleotha Henderson Robinson of Blytheville; one daughter, Yunna Robinson of Oakland, Calif.; four sons, James Robinson Jr., Gregory Robinson, Gragory Robinson, and Bruce Robinson, all of Blytheville; two sisters, Gertie Robinson and Nellie Robinson, both of Blytheville; one brother, M.C. Robinson of Chicago; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Nebo M.B. with Rev. Curtis Pointer officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens with friends and family serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
