Bobbie Laverne Gray

Bobbie Laverne Gray, 74, of Memphis, Tenn. died on Oct. 20, 2003 at Baptist Memorial in Tipton County.

Gray was a retired manager for Dent Cleaners and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Franklin Gray.

Survivors include two sons, Claude E. Hartsfield Sr. of Luxora and Tom E. Hartsfield of Louisville, Ky.; three step-sons, Jim Gray of Russellville, Ark., Dickie Gray of Memphis and Steve Gray of Marion; three sisters, Hazel Brown of Lincoln Park, Mich., Pauline Burks of Rockford, Ill. and Virginia Carroll of Horseshoe Bend; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Burial followed at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.
