A Marine veteran of World War II, he was a retired farmer and a member of the American Legion and Etowah Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Pearline Adams of Lepanto; a son, Buddy Junior Adams of Lepanto; a daughter, Patricia Hendrix of Lepanto; two grandchildren, Ronda Kaye Worsham of Wilson and Whitney Elise Adams of Dallas; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7 in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, with Huey Meherg officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah.
