Dan Edward Howard

Dan Edward Howard, 72, of Luxora died Friday, June 4 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Howard was a farmer of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter: Mary Alice Swift of Lake Placid, Fla.; four sons: Charles Howard of Luxora, Jimmy Howard of Chicago, Ill., Freddie Howard of Burlington, Iowa and Robert Howard of East St. Louis, Ill; one sister: Emma Howard of Louisiana; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 11 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Rev. Horace Howard officiating. Burial followed in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
