Leah Rene Portenga Carmichiel

Leah Rene Portenga Carmichiel, 39, of Dyess died Wednesday, July 14 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Joel Carmichiel of Dyess; her parents, Richard and Patricia Portenga of Florida; one daughter: Jessica Brusler of Waterford, Mich.; one brother: Matt Portenga and wife Michelle of Commerce, Mich.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 19 at Potters Cemetery in Lepanto with Brother J.E. Crawford officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola handled the arrangements.
