Hubert Allen, 79, of Splendora, Texas, died on Sunday, July 25.

He was born in West Mississippi to Clarence Robert and Iona Ivy Allen on February 8, 1925.

He is survived by two daughters: Vicki Jackson and Carolyn Brown; one brother: Herbert Allen; and friends Custer and Landra Crawford, Angel Crawford, Letizia Lopez and Heather and Derrin Riddick.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 20 at the Marked Tree Cemetery.
