Cora Mae Maness

Cora Mae Maness (Hardy), 67, of Savannah, Tenn. died Tuesday, Aug. 24 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Born in Walnut Ridge, she was of the Church of God faith and was formerly from Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Maness.

Survivors include four daughters: Lela Guthrie of Adamsville, Tenn., Sharon Cooksey of Enid, Miss., Lisa Stone of Trumann and Patricia Britt of Crump, Tenn.; three sons: Jerry Maness of Manilla, Harold Maness of Lake City and Tarry Maness of Trumann; two sisters: Lillie Mae Bishop of Dover and Loraine White of Casea; one brother: Don Black of Paragould; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Bro. Lynn Vincent officiating. Burial followed in Nichols Cemetery in Marked Tree.
