Billy Joe "Buddy" Holbrook

Billy Joe "Buddy" Holbrook, 59, of Atkins, formerly of the Black Oak Community, died November 16.

He was the son of the late S.T. and Edna Holbrook and was preceded in death by his son Ricky, grandson Paul Jr. and brothers Charles and Thomas of Tyronza.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Lynda; four sons: Billy Joe Holbrook Jr. of Atkins, Paul Holbrook of Dover, Christopher Holbrook of Louisiana, and Ed Holbrook of Atkins; one brother: Ronald Holbrook of Tyronza; three sisters: Sherril Davis of Memphis, Faye Beck of Knoxfille and Karen Butler of Houston; and ten grandchildren;

Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery with a hunting and fishing theme due to Holbrook's lifetime interest in the sports.
