Peggy Jean Cassels

Peggy Jean Cassels, 50, of Tyronza died Thursday, Dec. 2, at St. Bernard's Medical Center at Jonesboro.

A lifetime resident of the Black Oak community, she worked with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society and was a waitress at Travelair Restaurant at Marked Tree for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Cassels; one stepson, Jeff Cassels of Marked Tree; one sister, Brenda L. Stephenson of Hot Springs and two grandchildren, Dalton Cassels and Gares Cassels, both of Marked Tree.

Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree.

Memorials may be made to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
