James Milburn West

James Milburn West, 77, of Marked Tree died Friday, Dec. 24, at NEA Medical Center.

Born at Earle, he was a retired assistant manager for Federal Compress and of the Church of Christ belief.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley West of Gideon, Mo., and James West of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a stepson, Joe Griffin of Memphis; two daughters, Kay Hardin of Marked Tree and Deborah Walker of Lebanon, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree, with Michael Cox officiating. Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery.
