Survivors include one son, Junaway Payne of Marked Tree; two sisters, Clay Simmons of Ashdown and Leon Ivy of Portageville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Michael Payne, Melina Gregory, Myra Jordon and Matthew Payne, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Euless Othal Payne; one daughter, Nellie Joe Payne; her parents; her stepmother; three brothers; three sisters and one stepsister.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 30 in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree, with Robert Simmons and Donald Simmons officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery at Lepanto.
