Nellie Viola Shuburte

Nellie Viola Shuburte, 82, of Gilmore died February 5 at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.

She was a retired grocery store owner and a member of the Living Water Pentecostal Church of God in Tyronza.

Survivors include her husband, Hardin Shuburte of the home; one daughter: Myrtle Markham of Gilmore; two sons: Larry Shuburte of Gilmore and Tony Shuburte of Proctor; four sisters: Leota Brown of Summerville, Ga., Molly Jones of Lafayette, Ga., Naomi Ray of Chattsworth, Ga. and Dorothy Davis of Calhoun, Ga.; one brother: Joe Hill of Summerville, Ga.; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8 in the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Burial followed in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.
