John Graham officiated and burial followed in Riverview Cemetery at Marked Tree under the direction of Sims-Woodard Funeral Service of Marked Tree.
Pallbearers were Nathan Blake, Orlanda McCuiston, Bill Mitchell, Jerry Mitchell, Joe Mitchell and Glenn Mitchell.
Born at Judd Hill, she lived at Marked Tree for 27 years, having moved from Chicago. She was a member of Industrial Street Church of Christ and worked as a daycare worker in several church nurseries.
Survivors include four sons, Willie Mitchell and Billy Mitchell, both of Marked Tree, Tony Mitchell of Lepanto and Evans Clay of Chicago; one daughter, Jo Ann Anderson of Marked Tree; nine sisters, Daisy Jackson and Barbara Anthony, both of Indianapolis, Georgia Hale of Fort Smith, Barbara Gales of Memphis, Patricia Alexander and Cathy Young, both of Trumann, Janice Wright of Charlestown, Ind., Marilyn Seabron of Madisonville, Ky., and Cora Clay of San Francisco; six brothers, Joe Mitchell and Billy Mitchell, both of Trumann, Jerry Mitchell of Knoxville, Tenn., Dennis Mitchell of Lafayette, La., Glenn Mitchell of Jonesboro and Cleo Anthony of Gilmore; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rickey Mitchell, and her parents, Elbert Mitchell and Elmyria Anthony.
