Born in Manila in 1943, Hall was a lifetime resident of Mississippi County. He worked for Osceola Shoe Factor for 16 years and was the owner of JW Hall Auto Sales. Hall was a member of the Osceola Chamber of Commerce and attended Westside Baptist Church in Osceola.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hall of Osceola; his mother, Maxine Clark of Osceola; one son, Jason Day of Osceola; five sisters: Carolyn Mills of Ashland, Miss., Margaret Tyler of Jonesboro, and Lynn Ashcraft, Patsy Duncan and Pamela Dewally, all of Lepanto; two brothers: Allen Hall of Osceola and Stephen Hall of Marion; and one grandson, Drake Day of Osceola.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Rev. Wayne Moore officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
