Mary Juanita Brasfield, 67, of Marion, formerly of Marked Tree, died Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Memphis Healthcare and Rehab in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Dec. 6, 1937, she was the daughter of William Roger Henderson and Addie Mabel Young Henderson. She was a homemaker and of the United Pentecostal Faith.
She married Floyd Marion Brasfield, and they enjoyed many years together before his death in 2001.
Raised in Marked Tree, Brasfield enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid bird watcher. She also loved to fish and crochet.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lavaughn Henderson and Sidney William Henderson.
Survivors include two sons: Floyd Dewayn Brasfield of Marion and Eddie Franklin Brasfield of Memphis; tow daughters: Donna Earline Brasfield of Tulsa, Okla. and Noveitta Lynn Turner of Marion; one brother: Jerry Franklin Henderson of Hobbs, N.M.; one sister, Doris Loweitta Webster of Morris Chapel, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
The body was cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by Weston Funeral Services of Harrisburg.
