She was retired from the Singer Company and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Marked Tree.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlie E. Collier; three sons, Lonnie Merle Collier, Troy Emmett Collier and Doyle Glenn Collier; and her parents, Herman Alexander and Peral Allen Crews Madden.
Survivors include three sons, Will Collier of Albion, Mich., Rodger Collier of Marked Tree and Marty Collier of Dallas; three daughters, Alma Neal, Jeannie Edwards and Rita McCain, all of Marked Tree; three sisters, Oma Harris of Monette, Jo Harris of Festus, Mo., and Minnie Nichols of Fayetteville, N.C.; a brother, Ed Madden of Lumberton, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Trinity Baptist Church in Marked Tree, with Rick Kinery officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.
