Venesa Mills Burnett

Venesa Mills Burnett, 45, of Harrisburg, formerly of West Memphis, died on Jan. 7 in Marked Tree.

Born Jan. 29, 1960 in Newport, Mills is the daughter of Edmond Mills and Catherine Brand Mills. She grew up in West Memphis.

On Jan. 15, 1994 Mills married Bill Burnett and they enjoyed 12 years together. She was a homemaker and attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She enjoyed scrapbooking and taking care of children.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Burnett of Harrisburg; two sons: Eric Keller and wife Faustina of Grubbs and Bo Hubbard of Harrisburg; one daughter, Barbara Hubbard of Harrisburg; her parents, Edmond and Catherine Mills of Harrisburg; one brother: Eddie Mills of Marked Tree; three sisters: Lillian Capps of Harrisburg, Millie Walton of Marked Tree and Peggy Neal of Muenster, Texas and two grandchildren: Lane Keller and Owen Keller, both of Grubbs.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Weston Funeral Service Chapel in Harrisburg.

Pallbearers included Kevin Molder, Don Molder, Adam Redd, Daniel Howton, Robert Allman Sr., Robert Allman Jr., Brian Estes and Joey Martin.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Ray Cooper, Charles Burrow, David Judd, Jimmy Smith, Christopher Hamrick, Randy Jones, Kenneth Parsons and Scott Long.
