Ruby Mae Green

Ruby Mae Green, 71, of Marked Tree died Jan. 1 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Centerville, Tenn., she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Green of Joiner; three daughters: Jo Ann Dorris of Tyronza, Sue Ryals of Braggs, Okla. And Linda "Gail" Green of Joiner; one son: Steve Green of Joiner; seven sisters: Effie Cooley of Lepanto, Mamie Bailey of Decator, Ill., and Betty Robinson, Susie Thompson, Amy Stacey, Hazel Allen and Janice Rock, all of Amory, Miss.; two brothers: Terry Cates of Amory, Miss. and Larry Cates of Smithville, Miss.; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services held Wednesday, Jan. 4 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial followed in Bassett Cemetery in Bassett.
