Joseph Crantford "Toot" Miles

Joseph Crantford "Toot" Miles, 71, of Marked Tree died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro.

He was a machine operator at Mid South and of the Baptist Belief.

Survivors include, his wife, Marcella Miles of Marked Tree; a son, Timmy Miles of Jonesboro; a daughter, Donna Cooksey of Marked Tree; four brothers, Millard Miles of Lepanto, James Miles of Marked Tree, Oscar Miles and Howard Lee Miles, both of Haleyville, Ala.; three sisters, Helen King of West Memphis, Olar Fay Mattingly of Jacksonville, Mary Ann Miles of Bearcreek, Ala.; four grand-children and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 6 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto with Larry Deaton officiating. Burial followed at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
