She was born in Paris, had lived in Trumann for the past 46 years and was formerly of Marked Tree. She was a retired employee of the Singer Company and worked at C & C Auto Sales after her retirement and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Creecy was preceded in death by two brothers and was the daughter of the late Earl and Ruby McDade Nichols.
Survivors include her husband James Creecy of the home; one son, Jimmy Creecy of Trumann; seven sisters, Annabelle Campbell of Mulberry; Jeanett Walker of Boaz, AL, Loretta Campbell of Jonesboro; Shirley Allison of Tyronza, Betty Austin of Mountain Home; Sharon Collins of Trumann and Patricia Raper of Blytheville; four brothers, Earnest Nichols of Trumann, Leon Robinson of Osceola, Charles Nichols of Lake City and David Nichols of Okolona, Miss.
Funeral services were Tuesday Feb. 21, 2006 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Tribble and Rev. Huey Meherg officiating. Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Johnny Moss, Larry Harrison, Donnie Taylor, Jerry Vinson, Joe Austin, Larry Davis, Troy Wilson and Robert Stearns.
