Bobby Joe McClain

Bobby Joe McClain, 58, of Marked Tree passed away Monday, June 26, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was self-employed and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Clyde and Lure McClain, one son, brother and sister.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda McClain, of the home; one son, Brian McClain and two daughters, Shannon Brewer and Tammy Harmon Herrera all of Marked Tree; six grandchildren, Justin, Chris, Lil'Ricky, Caitlin, Conner and Gage all of Marked Tree; three brothers, Robert and Timmy McClain both of Marked Tree and Ricky McClain of Lepanto; four sisters, Ruth Nelson of Davenport, IA, Betty Lucas of Tyronza and Cordelia Franks and Mary Peridore both of Lepanto.

Services were held on Wednesday, June 28, at Murphy's Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Deaton officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Wayne Pitts, Paul Allen Hardin, Keith Steele, Boat Girdley, Doyle Hillis and Cliff Parham.
