Mary Louise Palmer

Mary Louise Palmer, 51, of Osceola died July 1 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was born July 21, 1954 in Osceola, was a member of Pilgrim Rest MB Church in Osceola and had been employed in a custodial capacity.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Garfield Cannon and L.V. Clemons, and her husband, Charles Palmer.

She is survived by five daughters: Rhonda Tyler of Lepanto, Pamela Whitfield, Sophie Harris, Tasha Gibson and Kalisha Gibson all of Osceola; seven sons: Charles Palmer, Fredrick lewis, Calvin Harris, Anthoney Harris, Terry Harris and Prince Gibson all of Osceola, and James Cannon of Elkhart, Ind; seven sisters: Ruby Williams, Freddie Pepper, Dorothy Cannon, Corrine McCadney, Lovell Jones and Lois Hones of Osceola, and Jessie Gilton of Jonesboro; three brothers: Eugene Cannon of Osceola, Larry Cannon of San Antonio, Tex, and Bennie Cannon of Blytheville; and 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 8 at the Promised Land Church of God in Christ in Osceola. Burial followed in Whiteside Cemetery with Pastor Cleveland Cain officiating.
