Mary Louise Franks

Mary Louise Franks, 79, of Trumann, formerly of Tyronza, died Saturday, Sept. 30 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Edward Franks, Sr.

Survivors include onE son, Vernon "Bud" Franks of Tyronza; two daughters, Jimmie Lou McCullar of Oliver Branch, Miss., and Norma Jean Baney of Harrisburg; one brother, Dewey Bonee of Portageville, Mo.; a special friend of 28 years, L.D. Browder of Trumann; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Mote, Jr. officiating.

Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree in charge.
