Oliver Carter

Oliver Carter, 75, of Marked Tree died October 26, 2006 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born December 17, 1930, in Poinsett County and was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Vanessa Scott.

Survivors include four daughters, Sue Leadford, Shirley Ware and Norma Jean Carter, all of Florence, Ala., and Rachel Arreola of Marion; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Oct. 30 at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of services.
