He was a member of the Lepanto Church of Christ, a WWII Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Spears of Lepanto; two stepchildren, Diane Vickers and Dale Mason, both of Lepanto; two sisters, Kaythern Capps of Marked Tree and Naomi Samson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one step-granddaughter, Denis McGee and one step-grandson, Jacob Bradley Vickers.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 5 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Lepanto with Gary Masters officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
