Mary Ann Simmons Tacker Lawrence

Mary Ann Simmons Tacker Lawrence, 60, of Payneway died April 3 at St Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Corners Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Mitchell Tacker; two brothers, Clayton and Freddie Simmons; and one sister Jean Wolcott.

She is survived by her husband Billy Lawrence of Payneway; two sons, Steve Tacker of Payneway and Eric Tacker of Jonesboro; two stepsons, Kevin Lawrence of West Memphis and Michael Riggs of Memphis; one brother John Simmons of Marked Tree; a special friend, Liz Simpson of Payneway and two grandchildren, Noah Tacker and Garen Tacker.

Services were Thursday, April 5 at Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway with Glenn Hurst officiating. Internment followed at Marked Tree Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree in charge of arrangements.
