Katherine Elizabeth Griggs, 80, of Arkadelphia, formerly from Lepanto, died Tuesday, April 10 at Baptist Health Center in Arkadelphia.

Survivors include three sons: Tony Griggs of Grande Prairie, Texas, Robert Griggs of Braoda, Mich. and Jack Griggs of Bridgeman, Mich.; two daughters: Alice Spencer of Arkadelphia and Sandy Criddle of New Braustell, Tex.; one brother, Henry Ray of Hardy; two sisters: Aillen Davis of Atkins and Dolline Fain of Malvern; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Friday in Potter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Brenda Lee Stephenson, 49, of Hot Springs, formerly from Lepanto, died Sunday, April 8th at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs.

She was of the Baptist belief and was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include her husband Tommy Stephenson of Hot Springs; one son, Len Stephenson of Monticello; four daughters, Tara Hargrave of Warren, Hannah Patrick of Hot Springs, Leesa Stephenson of Little Rock, Kasey Cathey of Sherwood; two brothers, Dennis Moorman of Jonesboro, Billy Moorman of Flint, Mich.; two sisters, Doris Steakley and Darlene Pate both of Lepanto; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6-8 PM. Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

A celebration of her life will be Wednesday at 10 AM. at the funeral home with Jim Duffel officiating. Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Patrick, Tad Marshall, David Massey, Eric Driver, AJ Cathey, and Gary Jones.

Burial will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
