Charles Lung

Charles Lung, 77, of Marked Tree died Sunday, April 22 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was of the Church of God faith and a life-long resident of Marked Tree. He was a retired salesman for Wonder Bread Company and a former member of Jaycees where he served as President.

Survivors include three sons, Douglas Lung of Marion, Roger Lung of Panama City, Flor. and Travis Lung of Marked Tree; three sisters, Florence Wright of Memphis, Maxine Elder of Marked Tree and Betty Powell of Jonesboro; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree. Burial will follow in the Tyronza Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jerry Lung, Steve Lung, Andy Lung, Allen Harsson, Ronnie Elder, Johnny Elder, Chad Lung and Chase Lung. Honorary pallbearers are Cloys Hamilton, Lawrence Gibbs, Bill Craft, Wayne Steen, Presley Gambill, Wilburn Comstock and Joe Sullivan.
