Carl Eugene Smith

Carl Eugene Smith, 72, of Tyronza passed away Friday, May 4 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 7 in the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with interment following in Tyronza Cemetery.

Smith was a member of Sneed Street Baptist Church in Marked Tree and is survived by his wife, Betty L. Smith of Tyronza; two daughters, Martha Emrich of Tyronza and Peggy Jones of Marion; two sons, Edward "Pete" Smith of Searcy, Paul Smith of Black Oak; two brothers, Bobby Smith of Tyronza and Ted Smith of Trumann; three sisters, Sarah Smith, Barbara Sharp and Glenda Morelock all of Tyronza and six grandchildren.
