Jackie Wayne Shempert

Jackie Wayne Shempert, 52, of Lepanto died Sunday, July 8 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.

Survivors include one son, Corey Shempert of Franklin, Ark; his mother Mary Harper of Adona, Ark; four brothers, Melvin Shempert of Frenchman's Bayou, Ark, Ricky Shempert of Dyess, Charles Shempert of Gosnell and Ronnie Shempert of Trumann; five sisters, Florence Jackson of Adona, Ark, Linda McEvoy of Perryville, Ark, Judy Tyler and Teresa Shempert both of Jonesboro, Patti Hunt of Gosnell and three grand children.

Services were held Wednesday, July 11 at Murphy Funeral Home of Lepanto, who was in charge of services, with burial following in Potter Cemetery.
