Ruth Braley Pyland

Ruth Braley Pyland, born June 11, 1907 at Mangrum, Arkansas, joined her husband of 62 years in the presence of the Lord on July 19, 2007. She was the daughter of the late E.C. and Addie Braley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Francis Pyland Miller; one grandson; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Braley Pyland of Searcy, Jimmy Pyland of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. The grandchildren, Mary Fuller, Susan Fisher, Stewart Miller, James Pyland, Angela Ames and Marcus Pyland will be pallbearers.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, a retired school teacher of 36 years and a 2000-hour Volunteer Auxiliary at White County Medical Center.

Visitation was Saturday, July 21, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00p.m. Interment followed at White County Memorial Gardens.
