He had driven trucks for 42 years. He married Mary Isabell on November 28, 1958 and they enjoyed 49 years together. He enjoyed fishing and country music, but his life's passion was his family. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Saddler and Billy Saddler.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Saddler of the home, one son, Joel Saddler Jr. of Trumann, 1 daughter, Pam Traynom of Harrisburg, 2 sisters, Brenda Stracener and Linda Teague, both of Marked Tree, 7 grandchildren, Leslie Saddler, Shannon Saddler, Sarah Saddler, Hunter Traynom, Alexandria Traynom, Tony Cox, and Chris Cox, and 1 great granddaughter, Ella Grace Saddler.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday at the Weston Funeral Service Chapel in Harrisburg. Interment followed in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
