Tyre Woodrow Gann

Tyre Woodrow Gann, 88 of Trumann, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock.

Born in Lepanto, he had lived in Trumann for the past 21 years moving to Trumann from Imperial, Calif.

He was a retired city employee of Imperial, CA. veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Jim" and Ethel Arms Gann.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Gann of the home; two sons, Virgil Gann of Carlisle and Mike Gann of Ardmore, Okla.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Monday, Oct. 22 at the Potters Cemetery in Lepanto with Dr. Tad Rogers and Rev. Brett Witcher officiating. Burial followed in the Potters Cemetery in Lepanto.
