Lena Mae Rogers

Lena Mae Rogers, 89, of Ashflat formerly of Lepanto died, Jan. 13, 2008 at Eaglecrest Nursing Home.

She was a member of West Ridge Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo, M. Rogers; one son, Bobby Joe Rogers and a daughter, Linda Sue Rogers.

She is survived by four sons, Billy Harold Rogers of Lepanto, Jack Rogers of Ashflat, Don Rogers of Lonoke and Ronald Rogers of Cherokee Village; eight daughters, Barbara Stovall of Cherokee Village, Brenda Carter and Ginger Miles of Lepanto, Burnett Whipple and Wanda Hammond of Sterling, Mich., Geneva Rolland and Angie Hiser of Manila, Teresa Bryan of Dyess, two brothers, Paul Tyler and Gene Tyler of Lepanto; 47 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life was Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
