He was a retired backhoe operator and mechanic and of the Pentecostal Faith. He married Delcie Randleas on Dec. 23, 1979 and they enjoyed 28 years together.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Cato.
He is survived by his wife, Delcie Cato of the home; four sons, Rickey Cato of Tyronza, Edward Stout, Phillip Stout and Gary Stout, all of Trumann; four daughters, Linda Beatrice Cato of Indiana, Karen Dye of Panama City, Fla., Norma Perry of Morrow and Tricia Woodward of Springdale; two sisters, Bonnie Waterford of West Memphis and Linda Adams of Harrison; 20 grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday, March 21 at the Weston Funeral Service Chapel in Harrisburg with Jeff Miles officiating. Interment followed in Potters Cemetery in Lepanto.
