Era Euphel McAnally, 91, of St. Louis, Missouri, died Thursday, May 31, at the family residence in St. Louis, Missouri, of natural causes.
McAnally was born in Itawomba County, Mississippi, and had lived in St. Louis for the past 34 years and was formerly of Trumann. She was ahomemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ester Alvin Taylor McAnally in 1967; one son, Hoyt McAnally; one daughter, Barbara McAnally; three grandsons, David Bass, Dewayne Mitchell and Thomas Henry; three sisters; one brother; and was the daughter of the late Marcus and Velmer Stanford Timms.
Survivors include five daughters, Justine Mitchell of Trumann, Geraldeen Henry, Aldean Lowery and Margaret Holbrook, all of St. Louis, Missouri; and Lugene Bass of Long Beach, California; two sons, Donald McAnally and Alford McAnally, both of St. Louis; one sister, Bobby Jo Hicks of Trumann; one brother, Marcus Timms of Satillo, Mississippi; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 13 rat-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Jim Holbrook officiating. Interment followed at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Pallbearers were Jerry Davis, Bill Cook, Larry McAnally, Donnie Welch, Wallace Bradsher and Doug Stanley.
