Archie Leonard Lancaster, 84, of Trumann, died Monday, June 18 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, of natural causes.
Lancaster was born in Cardwell, Mo., and had lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann area. He was a retired farmer and factory worker and a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patsy Ann Lancaster; one son, John Wayne Lancaster; two sisters; two brothers and was the son of the late Robert and Mollie Bradford Lancaster.
Visitation will be held this evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann, with rev. Ricky Forbis, Rev. Gene Loven and Rev. Boyd Hosman officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Active pallbearers are Jonathan Forbis, Kevin Beaumont, Gary Holmes, Mike Shannon, Tim Ferguson and Darrell Rains. Honorary pallbearers are Vernon Forbis, Jack Tarver, Lilburn Fowler and James Freeman.
