Mr. William Edward Cobb, SR.

Mr. Cobb,63, was born May 1, 1938, and died Sunday, September 6, 2001 at the St.

Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.

Mr. Cobb was born in Weona, Ark., and was a lifetime resident of the Trumann

and Weona area. He was a truck driver, veteran of the U.S. Army serving in

Vietnam and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by one grandson,

Steven Haddad; two sisters, Helen Geraldine Sherman and Lynda Sue Walker

and was the son of the late John Albert and Fleda Mae Foshee Cobb.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Erika Mader Cobb; four daughters,Mrs. Susan

Mae Turney of Trumann, Mrs. Teresa Anneliese Reese of Trumann, Mrs. Patricia

Sue Ellsworth of Tampa, Fl., and Mrs. Regina Haddad of Tampa, Fl.; three sons,

William Edward Cobb, Jr of Trumann, Marty Lee Cobb of Tampa, Fl., and Robert

Clifton Mader of St. Helen, Oregon; three sisters Mrs. Faye Friend of Sodus,

MI., Mrs. Martha Bossert of Plymouth Meeting, PA., and Mrs. Mary Alice Packard

of PA.; and one brother J.W. Cobb of Harrisburg, Ark. Also surviving him are

10 grandchildren. The visitation was Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

at Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. The funeral was Tuesday morning at 10:00a.m.

in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Brooks

officiating. The burial will be at the Harrisburg Memorial Park in Harrisburg,

Ark.

The Pallbearers included Don Fletcher, Danny Bivens, Jeff Reese, Todd Short,

O.E. Ross, Harles Reece, Danny Jackson, and Sam Ross.
