Jimmy Ray Wells
Jimmy Ray Wells, 59, of Birmingham, Alabama died Saturday at the V.A. Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born on July 11, 1942 in Harrisburg. He was a graduate of McCormick High School and a U.S. Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. He was the developer and owner of Health Science Products, a dental manufacturing company in Birmingham.
He was preceded death by his parents Marvin Wells ad Myrtle Pickens Wells.
He is survived by his fiance Anita Bedford of Birmingham, Ala, six sisters and brother in laws, Melba June Will of Harrisburg, Dorothy Cathering and Johnny Gunter of Southaven, Miss., Christine Brown of Harrisburg, Caroline and Michael Whaley of Hot Springs, Eva Wells of Harrisburg and Wilma Donley of Newport, two brothers and sisters in law, Buddy and Shelba Wells of St. Louis, Missouri and Earl Welss of Birmingham, Ala. one son Rylan Wells of Birmingham, Ala., one daughter Lisa Wells of Birmingham, Ala. and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Monday March 15 at Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home. Funeral services were held March 17 at the Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were his nephews.
