Morris to emcee FAC talent show

Shellee Morris will be announcer at the Trumann Area Fine Arts Council Talent Show on June 8. The talent show ill feature talent acts from Northeast Arkansas and surrounding states.

Morris was lead singer for the country music group 'Twister Alley." The band performed shows with Nashville stars such as Shania Twain, Toby Keith, John Anderson and Lorrie Morgan to name a few.

The band toured with Billy Ray Cyrus. Morris performed numerous times on the Nashville Network, played at Opryland USA and toured the country entertaining military troups.

Morris performed for eight years on the Kenny Rogers UCP Telethon before joining 'Twister Alley' which was on the music label Mercury. She now lives in Jonesboro with her husband and young son, Colt.

The talent show starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Trumann High School Auditorium and admission is $5.
